Lifeline of Ohio is an independent, non-profit organization that promotes and coordinates the donation of human organs and tissue for transplantation. Lifeline of Ohio serves 78 hospitals in 38 counties in Ohio and two in West Virginia and is designated as an organ procurement organization through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.  Since 1985, we have worked to empower our community to save and heal lives through organ, eye and tissue donation.  We are proud of our rich history and look forward to continued growth under the leadership of a new CEO.

With the upcoming retirement of our current CEO, we also look forward to continuing our journey of excellence. Last year, we received the Silver Award for Excellence from The Partnership for Excellence (TPE). ?

The award represents Ohio's highest honor for performance excellence through innovation, results and visionary leadership using the Baldrige Excellence Framework. 

To help us to continue on this journey, interested candidates should possess the following:

 

  • Proven ability to create an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling Lifeline of Ohio’s vision, mission and values
  • Substantial knowledge of the OPO regulatory and financial environment
  • Deep relationship management expertise
  • Strong strategic orientation
  • 10 or more years of experience leading a high-performing senior leadership team
  • A proven track record of achieving positive results
  • Advocacy and passion for donation
  • A relevant Master’s degree
