| Health First is a fully integrated delivery network located on Central Florida's east coast serving patients from Brevard, Martin, Indian River and St. Lucie counties. Health First includes four not-for-profit hospitals: Holmes Regional Medical Center, Cape Canaveral Hospital, Palm Bay Hospital, and Viera Hospital. Health First includes acute care hospitals, Trauma Center, Level II NICU, Medical Group, fitness centers, home care division, hospice care team, variety of outpatient services, training and education center. Plus, Health First manages their own health plan that provides group, individual and Medicare Advantage insurance coverage to its members. The system's footprint continues to grow with ongoing expansion projects and facility updates. The System Vice President of Facilities and Construction will report directly to the CEO of their hospital division. The System Vice President spearheads facilities and construction related improvement initiatives, establishes enterprise-wide maintenance and facility plans, manages challenging space issues, and reduces expenses. The System Vice President will ensure that Health First facilities are compliant with applicable regulatory organizations, and that construction projects are completed on time and within budget. The System Vice President of Facilities & Construction will be a strategic leader who demonstrates knowledge about changes in the healthcare construction market and leads Health First in adapting to these changes to strengthen its market position and promote an innovative culture. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Architecture, or Engineering required. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 15 years experience & 10 years of leading complex capital construction projects & facilities management for a health system. Member of ASHE, Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM), Certified Health Safety Manager, or FASHE.
