Reporting to the senior vice president and chief talent officer, the vice president of talent acquisition (VP) will work closely with Atrium Health senior management, nursing, and HR leadership teams across the enterprise and region to develop and lead the Greater Charlotte Region’s clinical and non-clinical talent acquisition strategy and framework, allowing Atrium Health to attract, engage, evaluate, and hire the exceptional talent needed to drive its business strategies. This role will design, implement, and lead talent acquisition programs and practices that are driven by the company’s mission, vision, values, and long-term business strategy

A master’s degree in business administration, HR, organizational psychology, or a related field is required
A minimum of ten years of talent acquisition experience in a high-volume recruiting discipline within a dynamic, high-growth environment
A minimum of five years of management experience, and proven ability to lead and develop a team of high-performing talent acquisition recruiters
Previous experience in high-volume recruitment, Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), and corporate recruiting environments is required; having this experience within a healthcare provider environment is preferred
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, benefits, teammate relations, Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, etc.
Strong experience working with applicant tracking, CRM, and HRIS systems
Experience creating a strong employment brand, leveraging social media, job boards, marketing, and other platforms
Proficiency in project and change management, undertaking a solutions-oriented approach with a growth mindset
Strong experience in workforce planning, forecasting, and developing, while ensuring appropriate resource plans for the recruiting function
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and thorough attention to detail
Proven success in building and restructuring recruiting and talent acquisition delivery models and programs with detailed reporting metrics
A passion for retaining and developing an exceptional team of recruiters
Strong business acumen, and experience working with and recommending creative recruitment tools, technologies, and platforms to enhance process efficiencies
Exceptional presentation and communication skills, and strong client and candidate management capabilities
The ability to drive initiatives for candidate generation to ensure that a diverse pipeline of candidates is available to meet the needs of the business
