As a key member of the HOI leadership team, the Executive Director Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) Operations is responsible for leading the management services division for HOI ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs). Leads and directs an array of clinical, management and administrative services for the surgery centers and physicians designed to increase efficiency, enhance capability to monitor and manage patient populations, and provide practice management services. Oversees the MSO team and provides on-going day to day clinical oversight of ASC management staff. Reporting to the VP of Ambulatory Services, the Executive Director strategically helps to create growth and financial success for the ASCs.
Participates in the implementation of strategic initiatives. Develops and maintains client services including but not limited: billing and reimbursement, accounting, medical records management, technology, and equipment selection and lease, regulatory requirements, etc. Manages MSO budget and reporting, ensures effective management of expenses. Oversees recruitment, retention, manager development as well as succession planning within MSO operations. Ensures contract and general compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and laws. Assures that the ASCs and outpatient facilities support an environment of high physician engagement and satisfaction.
This position will closely collaborate with enterprise leadership, physicians and partner organizations ASC and outpatient Administrators/leaders will report directly to the Executive Director ASC Operations.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or health care related field from an accredited institution
- Previous experience working in a multi-location outpatient healthcare setting and clinical systems
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in ASC or practice administration
- Demonstrated experience in clinical operations, contracting, budgeting, financial analysis, and reimbursement
- Master’s Degree in Business or health related field preferred.
