Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, a nationally recognized not-for-profit, community-based organization, is seeking a President to lead its continued success and outstanding history of service as the organization continues to grow. Since 1980, Hospice has served communities in a 16-county area, with three offices and a highly regarded inpatient facility. Our Hospice of South Central Indiana has a long history of providing skilled, compassionate care to the terminally ill and their families. The concept of hospice care is widely recognized as an integral part of the healthcare arena. Our Hospice of South Central Indiana also provides palliative care as a separate medical specialty and anticipates a growing demand for these services.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, and working in partnership with the Board, Staff, Volunteers, Community, and Key Stakeholders, the President will provide strategic, marketing, patient-care, financial, and administrative leadership for Our Hospice and Palliative Support Center. The President will serve as the lead partner with the Board in developing strategic direction for Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, evaluate and develop strategy regarding changes in the industry, ensure awareness and compliance with all Medicare/Medicaid regulations, maintain and develop donor relationships, and establish and strengthen collaborative relationships with the medical community.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 5-10+ years of successful hospice, palliative care, home health or other healthcare leadership experience. The successful candidate will ideally have knowledge and experience with non-profit leadership as a senior staff member or board member. Strong financial acumen and demonstrated servant leadership experience working with a large volunteer community is highly desired.
