Tallahassee Memorial Physician Partners is on an exciting growth journey that will require bold, thoughtful, and innovative leadership. As part of this journey, Tallahassee Memorial Physician Partners are launching a search for the next Chief Operating Officer.
Tallahassee Memorial Physician Partners (TMHPP) is a community based, multi-specialty group affiliated with Tallahassee Memorial Hospital (TMH). It began as a way to improve the overall health of the Tallahassee community and surrounding service region and to move our health system from a system with focus on health crisis management and chronic diseases to a focus on prevention and health maintenance. The organization has experienced impressive growth and is now 38 offices across seven counties, from small town family medicine to complex specialty clinics, TMHPP brings personalized care close to home, backed by a network of more than 200 healthcare providers.
TMHPP has been extremely well led over the past 25 years by Rob Moss, President of TMHPP. With Rob's impending retirement, the growth of the organization and the continued expansion plans we are commencing a search for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) of TMHPP. The COO will report to Rob Moss as President. Dr. Dean Watson, Chief Integration Officer will work closely with Rob Moss and this COO to lead TMHPP. Rob Moss will continue to serve in a capacity that will ensure a smooth transition of leadership and to oversee several projects that he helped conceptualize.
This is an incredible opportunity for a leader who is passionate and well versed in physician practice leadership to help shape the future of TMHPP and to evolve the organization. The sky is the limit for TMHPP as the organization adds services, practices and builds strategic partnerships with Florida State University and Capital Health Plan.
The community of Tallahassee is a welcoming one that is also diverse in its values and cultures. With multiple universities and the state's Capital, there is an exciting energy and innovative spirit in the community. The COO will be an instrumental leader in continuing the culture of caring and excellence for the community and the nearly 700-team members within TMHPP.
Candidates should be well-versed in modern healthcare finance and an exceptional communicator with a high level of emotional intelligence. It will be important that candidates have at least 10 years of senior leadership in organizations with similar complexities as TMHPP. Candidates must be community-minded and committed to staying true to the organization's mission, vision and values.
