What we are looking for:
Hudson Valley Hospice serving the residents of Dutchess and Ulster Counties, requires an experienced leader to foster our Mission of quality excellence and operational growth. We currently serve over 620 patients daily, while maintaining/strengthening relationships with surrounding hospitals and nursing homes. We are completing a 14-bed inpatient Hospice House which will open Spring of 2023 and have implemented a community based palliative care group practice.
We are in search of a skilled Senior Vice President or Chief Operating Officer to assist the organization continue its success. This individual must demonstrate their ability to stay focused on short and long term goals, to keep projects and plans on schedule and on budget, to motivate teams to new directions, and offer the CEO alternative visions.
We expect this person to have extensive hospice management experience with an emphasis on quality improvement, goal setting and achievement, project development, and problem solving. This executive must be risk tolerant, think creatively, express their ideas and positions clearly, succinctly, and with confidence.
For the successful candidate, we are offering an excellent salary, potential bonuses, and relocation assistance. The selected candidate will report directly to the CEO/President.
Master’s degree in nursing, hospital administration, or management preferred
At least four (4) years full-time senior management experience in hospice administration.
Possess strong and effective communication and leadership skills.
