Nemours Children's Health (Nemours Children's) is seeking a dynamic, innovative and collaborative physician leader to serve as Assistant Vice President (AVP), Value-based Clinical Services. This position provides executive physician leadership for all value-based care efforts for the Nemours Children's Health enterprise, reporting to the Enterprise Chief Value Officer (CVO).
Nemours has grown to become one of the nation's largest integrated pediatric health systems, providing hospital and clinic-based specialty care, primary care, prevention and health information services, and research and medical education programs aimed at improving the lives of children and families throughout the Delaware Valley, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Florida with a total of 95 locations
The Nemours Children's Health, Delaware Valley has a significant educational and academic mission, including numerous trainees and extramurally funded research endeavors. Nemours Children's Hospital Delaware serves as the Department of Pediatrics at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.
Located in Orlando, Florida, Nemours Children's Hospital is part of the Nemours integrated healthcare system. The 130-bed pediatric hospital also features the area's only 24-hour Emergency Department designed just for kids as well as outpatient pediatric clinics including several specialties previously unavailable in the region. In Jacksonville, Baptist Health and Nemours Children's Specialty Care partner in pediatric care at Wolfson Children's Hospital of Jacksonville. This partnership has considerably expanded the access to pediatric specialized medicine to the patients of the Tallahassee Region.
The AVP, Value-based Clinical Services will serve as the executive physician lead for clinically focused value-based care activities across the Enterprise, including a focus on accountable care in the Delaware Valley (DV). The AVP will support the Health, Value, and Equity strategy for the enterprise. The AVP will have direct oversight and responsibility for leading the Chief of Primary Care for DE Valley as well as several Medical Directors for the Value Based Services Organization, a cross-functional team that support care management, data analytics and technology support for value-based care, population health management, and social determinants of health interventions.
This leader is responsible for oversight of the vision and to provide leadership support for Delaware Valley Primary Care and KidWell, our Nemours-owned clinically integrated network and will partner with the Florida Leadership to support the value-based care activities in Florida.
