Overview:
As the top nursing executive, will be responsible and accountable for Quality/Compliance/Risk Management/Safety, Transitional Care, Senior Behavioral Health, Pharmacy, House Supervisors, Anesthesia and Nursing Departments. Will manage overall delivery and management of nursing practice, nursing education, professional development, nursing research, nursing administration, nursing services and responsible for the safety, quality and delivery of patient care, operations of departments, units and service lines. As a member of the Senior Leadership team will participate in the development of operational programs, policies and procedures to meet ethical and legal concerns.

Five to ten years of nursing experience in an acute care setting with current advanced leadership and management experience required. Masters’ Degree in Nursing required; must possess the knowledge and skill associated with an MSN or another appropriate post-graduate degree.
Our 50-bed acute care hospital is certified for swing beds with an
additional 15 ambulatory outpatient beds. Established in 1972 by
the merger of St. Mary’s Hospital and Behlen Memorial Hospital,
this not-for-profit hospital is governed by a local board of directors.
We are licensed by the Nebraska State Board of Health and
accredited by the Joint Commission.
