PCHC is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) who will take ownership of leading its clinical operations and is passionate about serving people in need who would otherwise not receive care. PCHC is the trusted primary care home for 30,000 patients and its care model integrates medical, dental, and behavioral health services and provides a robust range of ancillary and support services. PCHC’s mission impact is highly regarded by patients and the community. The CMO will lead the organization to deliver the best primary care available in the region and facilitate and support clinical staff to practice at the top of their professions. Responsibilities:
providing organizational leadership to assure the care model is integrated, effective and efficient
setting and executing strategic direction as a member of the Executive Team reporting to the CEO
leading clinical staff to achieve high levels of patient access and outcomes
ensuring the provider staff is well-qualified, supported, and engaged in achieving the organizations goals
promoting an organization-wide culture of service
collaborating with organization leadership to achieve operational excellence and financial sustainability
establishing good working relationships with the local care delivery system providers and organizations and representing the organization externally with respect to clinical affairs
participating regularly in Board of Directors meetings
demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills
Compensation:
Starting base salary of $245,000-$300,000 depending on skills/experience
Additional annual $6,000-$24,000 possible for APP supervision

Required Qualifications:
Board certified in a primary care specialty (family practice preferred)
Colorado license to practice medicine
Seven (7) years post-residency experience
Two (2) years clinical management experience (personnel management required)
Track record of effective leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills
Proficiency using electronic health records and Microsoft business applications
Preferred Qualifications:
Community/population health background
Community Health Center/FQHC experience
