The Gulf Coast VA Medical Center at Eglin AFB, is seeking a full-time, Board Certified, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to serve as its Chief Medical Officer. Highlights of this position include:
Competitive Starting Salary $240,000-275,000
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:30pm or 8am-4:30pm
You may be expected to travel in this position
Coordinate and oversee clinical and administrative activities of staff and patient care
Responsible for day-to-day operation of clinic
Devotes 50% of time to direct patient care
Supervision of Physicians, PA’s, NP’s, and clinical staff
Oversight and coordination of educational programs
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found
Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
Additional Requirements:
Board certified in Internal or Family Medicine
Three or more years’ experience in primary/family medicine practice
Two or more years’ experience as primary care provider in VA facility
