Froedtert ThedaCare Health (FTCH) seeks a visionary leader to serve as its Vice President, Supply Chain. This is an exceptional opportunity for a visionary leader to impact care delivery with a vibrant and financially strong academic health system.
FTCH was formed from the merger of two leading Wisconsin-based health systems, finalized in January 2024. FTCH is a $5.8 billion integrated health care delivery network that includes 18 hospitals and more than 360 outpatient locations, 3,400-plus providers, and 22,000-plus employees. The combined organization is a partner to the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), working in concert to expand its mission of patient care, innovation, medical research, and education.
The next Vice President must drive innovation within the supply chain organization to further FTCH's ongoing integration and emphasize the value that the supply chain can bring to the combined entity. FTCH seeks a leader who can use data and metrics to bring transparency to the supply chain function and to support decision-making –particularly in the area of clinical value analysis. The successful candidate will be able to bring advisory skills to the forefront and enable the system to leverage supply chain as a strategy. Ideally, the candidate will bring an increased focus to logistics and analytical support across the newly formed system.
The ideal candidate will bring considerable experience leading a wide breadth of supply chain management in an integrated health system or similarly complex organization. Candidates should possess at least seven years of progressively responsible leadership level experience in supply chain and have the interpersonal, communication, and strategic skills to work collaboratively with peers, patients, faculty, and staff. It would be particularly helpful if candidates have implemented and transitioned a healthcare system to a new ERP system.
