The Chief Executive Officer provides strategic leadership for Woodlawn Hospital, ensuring operational excellence, financial strength, and compliance with all healthcare standards. The CEO fosters a culture grounded in integrity, accountability, and respect, and works closely with the Board, medical staff, and community partners to advance initiatives that expand access to quality care and strengthen the hospital’s mission.

Education and Certification:
MHA, MBA, or similar graduate degree required. PhD is preferred.
Certification by the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE credentials) is preferred.
Qualifications:
Prior experience at senior/executive level in critical access management.
A minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in hospital operations.
A broad and deep health care industry knowledge (payment mechanisms, managed care, supply chain management, technology, regulatory and trends/forecasts).
Proven financial skills including reimbursements, managed care and financial accountability.
Knowledge of physician relations, medical staff and patient care policies and procedures.
Working knowledge of regulatory, legislative and HFAP standards.
Working knowledge of legal aspects of board and governance matters.
Working knowledge of public relations, marketing and community relations.
For more than 100 years, Woodlawn Health has provided quality healthcare to the residents of Fulton County and surrounding areas. Woodlawn Hospital has grown from a small house on Pontiac Street to a 25-bed critical access hospital with medical clinics in Rochester, Arkon, and Argos. Today, the hospital sits serenely on 33 serene wooded acres, complete with walking trails, which can be viewed from every patient room. Woodlawn Health offers a wide range of services including a birthing center, cancer center, emergency medical services, laboratory services, critical care and medical/surgical units, radiology, rehabilitation services, respiratory care services, sleep center, inpatient and outpatient surgical services, and more.Woodlawn Health is a non-profit organization. The hospital is a county-owned facility; however, it receives no county tax money for its day-to-day operation.
