PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital is seeking a dynamic, visionary executive to serve as Vice President of Ancillary Services — a critical leadership role responsible for advancing clinical excellence, operational performance, and patient-centered innovation across a highly respected, mission-driven health system.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer/Chief Nursing Officer, this senior executive will provide strategic and operational oversight for a diverse portfolio of ancillary service lines, ensuring alignment with PIH Health’s commitment to quality, safety, service excellence, and financial sustainability.

The Vice President of Ancillary Services will lead and optimize a broad portfolio of diagnostic and clinical support services across both hospital and physician enterprise settings, including:

• Diagnostic Imaging

• Laboratory Services

• Rehabilitation Services

• Respiratory Therapy

• Cardiology and Cardiovascular Diagnostics

• Additional ancillary service lines across acute and ambulatory settings

This leader will drive system integration, operational excellence, service line growth, and care delivery transformation while fostering a culture centered on accountability, collaboration, and patient-first care.

Key Leadership Impact

• Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance clinical quality, patient safety, operational efficiency, and service expansion

• Partner with executive, physician, and clinical leadership to advance integrated care delivery models

• Optimize performance through data-driven decision-making and financial stewardship

• Lead transformational initiatives that enhance patient access, experience, and outcomes

• Foster innovation through new technologies, workflows, and service delivery redesign

• Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing multidisciplinary teams

• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards

• Drive accountability through measurable performance outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive senior leadership experience in a large, integrated healthcare organization

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field

• Current California RN license or CA clinical licensure in an ancillary discipline (Radiology, Cardiology, Respiratory, etc.)

• Demonstrated success leading large clinical or ancillary service operations

• Proven ability to analyze complex operational and financial challenges and drive sustainable solutions

• Strong track record of building accountability and performance-focused cultures

Preferred Qualifications

• • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field

  • Seven or more years of leadership or executive management experience

  • Experience leading multi-site or integrated system service lines

  • Bilingual Spanish skills highly valued
