The Chief of IVC assumes direct administrative responsibility and authority for the clinical operations, nursing and administrative personnel in Non-VA Care in the Community (NVCC), Patient Transfer Coordinator, Referral Coordination Initiatives, for NVCC and CHOICE. The Chief of IVC collaborates daily with the clinical and administrative teams to oversee the functions of the IVC.
