The Community Care Network of Kansas (CCNK) – a statewide association serving a dedicated network of non-profit federally qualified health centers and non-profit clinics – is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Chief Executive Officer. CCNK is a leader in healthcare training, technical assistance and public policy advocacy at the local, state and federal levels. It represents and supports its 30+ members now serving one in nine Kansans through high quality medical, dental and behavioral health provided regardless of ability to pay.
Working alongside (and reporting to) a Board of Directors, the CEO sets the organization’s strategic direction, builds collaborative partnerships, secures diverse funding sources and advocates for policies that strengthen its members and mission.
The successful candidate must be a decisive leader capable of driving organizational growth and innovation, demonstrate an ability to inspire and support its Board and diverse membership and navigate a complex political environment successfully. The ability to effectively articulate the mission, vision and effectiveness of association members is required along with the ability to secure and maximize funding through public and private programs.
Preferred candidate will have a Master’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or other relevant field and knowledge of the expectations for federally qualified health centers. A minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience with demonstrated success identifying opportunities, advocating for positive change and accomplishing challenging goals is required.
