Buffkin/Baker has partnered with Memorial Health System on their search for a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Memorial Health System (MHS) a 25-bed critical access hospital in Abilene, Kansas, has been an integral part of the community since its inception, providing healthcare services to the people of Abilene and the surrounding areas for over a century.

Reporting directly to the health system President and CEO and in partnership with him and the boards, the MHS CEO will translate strategic, financial, and operating targets into facility and departmental business plans within the context of the system’s strategic plan, including facilitating the improved efficiencies and identification, development and implementation of new programs and services. The hospital employs 390 individuals including the following employed providers: 7 Family Physicians, and 1 Surgeon, 5 mid-levels in the clinic, and 4 mid-levels in the ER.
