Wellstar Health System (Wellstar) seeks a dynamic, innovative, growth-minded and strategic leader with extensive health system and operations management experience to serve as President & Chief Executive Officer.

With revenue of over $7 billion, Wellstar is one of Georgia’s largest and most integrated healthcare systems comprised of 11 hospitals (including an academic medical center), 320+ medical offices, 8 cancer centers, 35 imaging centers, 23 urgent care sites, 5 health parks, and a growing health plan. To remain on the cutting-edge of healthcare, Wellstar has committed $500M to the implementation of a digital operating model that leverages advanced technology to streamline workflows, improve communication among care teams, and optimize resource utilization. Reporting directly to Wellstar’s Board of Trustees, the new President & CEO will lead a high-performing, mission-driven, and financially stable integrated delivery system that is well-positioned for continued growth. The President & CEO will be instrumental in the continued development and expansion of statewide services to improve health outcomes throughout Georgia, and will guide Wellstar as it realizes the health system’s aspirational goals of achieving top decile performance nationally in quality, customer experience, financial performance, growth, best places to work and community well-being.
