Exciting Vice President of Facilities leadership opportunity in New York State!
The Position
The Vice President of Facilities will be responsible for the overall operational leadership, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals, reporting to the President & CEO.
This role is a key executive leader with oversight of master planning, engineering, design and construction, maintenance operations, regulatory compliance, real estate and property management, sustainability, and capital investment strategies.
This leader will focus on rebuilding team competencies by mentoring staff and promoting best practices. Key priorities include overseeing project management, ensuring successful completion of construction projects, and developing a five-year operational and maintenance plan.
Ideal candidates will be hands-on, data-driven, and responsive leaders. Must demonstrate the ability to lead through ambiguity with transparency and integrity. Strong financial stewardship and the ability to prioritize high-impact projects will be key to success. Familiarity with OSHA 10/30 training programs is highly preferred.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction required; Master’s degree preferred.
Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM), Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC), or LEED AP required; or ability to obtain within two years of hire. Professional Engineer (PE) or Certified Property Manager (CPM) preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in facilities operations or a related environment is required; prior executive-level leadership experience within a health system is preferred.
Experience managing large-scale capital projects ($10M+) and operational budgets ($15M+) is highly preferred.
Compensation Range
The base salary range for this position is $275,000 - $301,000 annually. In addition, a leader may be eligible for other benefits, including but not limited to health insurance coverage, retirement benefits, and bonuses. The total compensation for the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The base salary range listed above is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
