Job
The Women's Health Director (WHNP) is a dual-role position combining advanced clinical practice with administrative leadership. This individual provides comprehensive women's health care while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Women and Children's Health Program. The Women's Clinic Director ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and leads initiatives that address social determinants of health for women and children, including programs like Baby2Baby, doula services, guaranteed basic income, and other supportive services.
ResponsibilitiesClinical Responsibilities (60%)
Provide full-scope women's health care, including preventive, reproductive, prenatal/postpartum, and gynecologic services.
Perform procedures such as Pap smears, contraceptive counseling, STI testing/treatment, and menopause management.
Collaborate with providers, other clinic staff, and community partners to ensure holistic care.
Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
Provide family-centered primary healthcare to women of all ages
Provide routine gynecological services including reproductive health visits, regular gynecologic care (i.e., annual exams) and peri/post-menopausal care and preventive care
Consult with other agencies and other health and social care professionals to ensure continuity of care
