Position Description

The Vice President of Security, Facilities & Environmental Care is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of the organization’s security, facilities, and environmental departments. This includes oversight of developing, implementing, and managing all policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of staff, as well as promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility. The VP will collaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet organization goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems. The role requires a strategic leader who can balance the demands of both security and environmental stewardship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field; Preferred MBA or MHA
• Minimum 2 to 5 years position-related experience required.
• Construction related experience (ideally in healthcare) preferred.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in security and environmental management systems.
• Computer knowledge and software applications a must.
• Requires excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Must also be able to work very independently with little direction from supervisor and meet deadlines.
• Must maintain strict confidentiality.
• Must be able to attend before office hours and after hour meetings
